Joris is Partner and Chief Scientific Officer at Bioqube Ventures. He joined in 2018, bringing over 15 years of experience in academic and translational immunology. His expertise spans cancer immunotherapy, autoimmunity, and immune deficiencies, with leadership roles in both research and clinical diagnostics.

He began his career at Maastricht University Medical Center, developing cellular immunotherapies, and later managed clinical diagnostic programs in transplantation, oncology, and immunology. At Bioqube, Joris leads scientific diligence and supports portfolio companies and venture creation efforts and drives translational research efforts with a strong focus on the enablement of early clinical development.
